2. Scope and principles

This policy applies to the public website beamicreations.com and its language-specific interactive pages. We process only data needed to operate, secure and improve the website, respond to enquiries, document consent choices, and measure outbound book-campaign links where expressly described below.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted in Germany by ALL-INKL / Neue Medien Münnich. When a page is requested, the web server may record technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser/user-agent information, response status and transferred data volume. Processing is necessary to deliver the site, diagnose faults and protect the service from misuse.

Where the EU GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Under Swiss data-protection law, processing follows the principles of proportionality, purpose limitation and security. Log data is retained only as long as operational, security or legal requirements make it necessary, according to the hosting and security configuration.

4. Website security with Wordfence

We use Wordfence to identify and block malicious requests. For this purpose, IP addresses and request/security metadata may be processed and, depending on the security function used, transmitted to Defiant, Inc. in the United States. The purpose is to defend the website and investigate attacks. Where required for an international transfer, contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses are used.

5. Cookies and consent management

Complianz is used to record and respect your cookie choice. Strictly necessary cookies or local-storage entries may be used to provide the requested website function and to remember consent settings. Non-essential analytics or marketing storage is not activated on the audited public pages at the date shown below. If this changes, it will be presented through the consent banner before activation where consent is required.

You can revisit your choice through the cookie settings shown on the website. Details of currently detected cookies and services are listed in the Cookie Policy.

6. Fonts and page assets

Website fonts are served locally from this website. The audited public pages do not request Google Fonts directly from Google. Images, covers, stylesheets and scripts are normally delivered from the Beami Creations domain or its hosting infrastructure.

7. Email contact and book feedback

If you contact us by email or submit a book feedback form, we process your message, the selected book and any optional topic selections. You may provide an email address if you would like a reply; it is not required to submit book feedback. We use this information to handle your feedback, answer questions and improve our books. We do not use a feedback submission to subscribe you to a newsletter.

Feedback forms are processed on our WordPress website and sent to info@beamicreations.com through our transactional email provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). Brevo receives the message and any reply address you provide for delivery. We do not create an additional database of feedback messages in WordPress. Our hosting and email providers process the information needed to operate and secure this delivery path. Details about Brevo’s processing are available in its privacy policy and terms and data-processing agreement.

The form uses short-lived technical identifiers to limit repeated submissions and avoid sending the same request twice. These contain no message text or email address. The abuse-prevention identifier is derived from the connecting IP address using a secret-key hash; these identifiers expire after 15 minutes and are removed through WordPress housekeeping. The ordinary hosting and security logs described above still apply.

Where the EU GDPR applies, the legal basis for ordinary book feedback is our legitimate interest in handling reader enquiries and improving our books (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If an enquiry concerns a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Swiss data-protection principles apply as described above.

We keep your book feedback, associated contact details and correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your feedback and any necessary follow-up. We delete this information no later than six months after the matter has been closed, or earlier if it is no longer needed. Where a legal retention obligation applies, or information is necessary to establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims, we retain only the relevant information separately for the required period. We may keep useful insights for improving our books in a form that does not allow you to be identified.

For the Brevo delivery path, the configured retention period for transactional logs is one month; email-content previews are not retained for new messages. Brevo states that scheduled log deletion may take up to 24 hours after that period. This is separate from the retention of correspondence in our receiving mailbox.

Entries made in the interactive Loop-Decoder remain in the open browser and are not submitted through the feedback form. Downloading bonus material or following an Amazon review link does not subscribe you to email updates.

7a. Zoo drawing wall (Zeichnungswand)

A drawing must be submitted by an authorised adult with the child’s agreement. We process the image, optional caption, publication choice and any adult contact address to receive, review and manage the submission. Publication is optional and requires separate permission, confirmation of the adult’s email address and our personal review. Only the approved drawing, title and optional caption are displayed publicly. The email address remains private. Please do not include a child’s full name, school or address.

Approved drawings remain on the wall without a fixed time limit until permission is withdrawn. This permission covers this drawing wall only, not advertising, social media or other books. You can remove your submission at any time using its private receipt link, or request removal at info@beamicreations.com, identifying the drawing. We may ask for information needed to verify the request. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Copies independently made by other visitors may remain outside our control.

Submissions are held in protected storage at our German hosting provider, outside the public website directories. Images are re-encoded to remove embedded file metadata. Submissions are not sent to an AI service. Brevo delivers the confirmation email, including the confirmation and private receipt links; the image and caption are not attached. The delivery-log settings described in section 7 also apply to these emails.

Unpublished submissions expire after 30 days and are removed by regular automated housekeeping. On withdrawal, the image and caption are removed from active storage. A restricted record of the permission, adult contact, confirmation and removal dates, file checksum and technical submission identifiers is retained for 30 days after removal and then deleted. The hosting provider’s protected backups may contain older copies; its published standard backup cycle normally covers up to four weeks. Deleted submissions are not restored for publication. Separate correspondence about a removal request follows section 7.

The gallery uses secret-key hashes of IP or email information to limit abusive requests, with request limits expiring after one hour and email limits after 24 hours; expired entries are removed through housekeeping. The gallery does not store raw IP addresses, but ordinary hosting and security logs still apply. Where the EU GDPR applies, publication is based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)); receiving requested submissions, preventing abuse and retaining the limited permission record are based on our legitimate interests in operating the wall and documenting its authorised use (Article 6(1)(f)). The Swiss principles and rights described in this policy also apply.

8. Interactive Oracle pages

The Seelenfragen / Soul Questions / Preguntas del Alma Oracle pages are intended for personal reflection. In the current public implementation, no questionnaire answer is submitted to Beami Creations through a contact form or user account. Standard server and security logs still arise when pages and assets are requested. If a feature stores a selection locally on your device, that local state can normally be removed through your browser’s site-data controls.

9. External marketplace and Amazon affiliate links

Book buttons may lead to Amazon or another external marketplace. The contract of sale, if any, is concluded with that marketplace, not on beamicreations.com. Clearly labelled Amazon links may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase after following such a link, Beami Creations may receive a commission without increasing your purchase price. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Links may include an assigned partner or campaign identifier so that Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases and report aggregated performance. Once you follow an external link, the destination provider receives the usual technical request data and applies its own privacy policy. We do not receive your complete marketplace account, payment data or detailed Amazon browsing history.

10. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be accessible to service providers that operate the website on our behalf, especially the German hosting provider and the security provider described above. We disclose data to authorities only where required by law. If data is transferred to a country without an officially recognised adequate level of protection, we use an applicable legal mechanism and safeguards, or rely on a statutory exception.

11. Retention

We retain personal data only for the period required for the stated purpose, website security, handling an enquiry, consent documentation, contractual duties or statutory retention. The exact period depends on the data category and the relevant provider configuration. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymised unless a legal duty prevents deletion.

12. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law and its conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future. To exercise a right, contact info@beamicreations.com. We may need information sufficient to verify your identity.

You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If the GDPR applies to your situation, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the EU/EEA.

13. Automated decisions

We do not use the public website to make decisions about you that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

14. Changes to this notice

We update this policy when the website, its providers or legal requirements materially change. The version published here is the current version.
